A refundable deposit unlocks the whole book for you and your chosen family. Unlimited revisions before locking. The $22 is credited toward the total.

03 · Make it yours

$222 CAD total

Final version & rights transfer

AI-assisted drafting with human editorial review. When you approve the manuscript and cover, pay the remaining $200 CAD and lock that version for rights transfer.

All amounts are in Canadian dollars. The $22 deposit is part of the $222 total, not an extra charge. It is refundable until you choose to lock the final version. At locking, the remaining $200 is paid and the agreed rights to that version transfer to you under your project agreement. You may self-publish it, share it, or keep it private. A changed version needs a new contract and deposit. We don't publish or use your private story without your consent. Human review and the rights being transferred are defined in the agreement, which you review before any payment. Beta terms may change for future projects; your agreed price is shown before you commit.

We don't invent events, quotes, credentials, or endorsements. Your private story isn't published or used in marketing without your explicit sign-off.

What does it cost to start?

Nothing. Conversation and chapters are free. A refundable $22 CAD deposit unlocks your full manuscript. It counts toward the $222 CAD total for the final version and rights transfer, leaving $200 CAD at locking.

Do I have to publish my book?

No. The transferred version can be self-published, shared with family, or kept private.

Who owns the book?

Your project agreement defines the rights to the working draft and final version. At locking, after you approve the manuscript and cover and pay the $200 CAD balance, the agreed rights to that version transfer to you.

Can my family take part?

Yes. Jamie speaks with each participant one to one and agrees with each person what may be shared. You can change that consent.

Is this AI-assisted?

Yes. Conversation and drafting are AI-assisted. Your corrections and human editorial review help finish the book. The scope of that review is set out in your agreement.

What about privacy?

We don't sell your life-story data or contact details. Private stories need your explicit consent before publication or marketing. You may ask to delete working copies; we'll explain backup expiry and legally required retention.
